Welcome to my ‘Filter Bubble’ / 2017

Through filtering, spaces on the Internet have become more and more personalized. For instance, search results have become less varied. According to Eli Pariser, this is the reason why users end up in a so-called ‘Filter Bubble’ and see less of what can be considered as reality.

I’ve visualized my personal ‘Filter Bubble’ by taking screenshots daily of all the websites I visit. From these screenshots I’ve extracted lines, shapes and images with which I’ve created new thought-provoking compositions, which represent these web pages individually.
